At almost every AG&I sponsored event, and several others as well, there is some form of knowledge testing. These knowledge tests measure an exhibitor's "IQ" about his/her animal and the agricultural industry in general. Often times if an exhibitor has reasearched his/her animal, been involved with its daily feeding, health and care he/she should do well on any exam.

Exams provided by AG&I/AYLSF are designed not to "stump" or trick the student. The goal is to evaluate how much research the child has put into her/her project and also to test how much practical knowledge the child has of his/her animal.

It might seem pretty easy to begin with, however there can be an overwheling amount of information to absorb on just one species. Below you will find a list of sites offering study material. We have also listed what areas will be covered in exams sponsored by AG&I/AYLSF.

Don't forget to take the species exams offered on our Quiz page!
